I am excited to announce the Paper and Clay Series I am cohosting with Adirondack Pottery!

We’ll be meeting quarterly to discuss a Black Walnut Books queer read pick. While we chat about the book, Eric from Adirondack Pottery will walk us through making a functional ceramic art piece. The concept is having something fun and engaging to do with our hands while we chat about a shared read. We’ll have a themed stamp for each book pick, which you can use to decorate your piece. If you attend all four you’ll have a complete set as a memento. 

The first session is on Sunday July 30th at 6:30pm. We’ll be meeting at Adirondack Pottery, which is right down the hall from me at The Shirt Factory. We will be discussing one of my all time favorite books, In the Dream House by Carmen Maria Machado while we make ceramic plates.
